Hi everyone,
There’s a genomic technologies conference happening in Hobart October 29th to November 1st that you should consider checking out. Abstracts
for talks close in a bit over a week (3rd July) but registration is open longer so get the abstracts in! It is interdisciplinary, has some great speakers lined up, includes travel awards (even for locals), a family room if you need it, conference
dinner at Mona, lots of awards and prizes and best of all, covers lots of awesome science.
There’s also two
pre-conference workshops (a symposium on gene editing and a workshop on single cell sequencing) that locals can register for without attending the conference! If you only want to attend a workshop
please email Emma Harrison Emma@leishman-associates.com.au instead on using the online registration.
There’s also a student/ECR function organised by some local PhD students, and discounts for group registrations (plus become an AGTA member – it is cheap and
helps with registration costs)
Best wishes,
Jac
