Hi all, In attempt to help you all use the NeCTAR national computing (cloud-based) infrastructure, I'm going to break my usual rule (Never Do Live Demos) and take you through the why & how to set yourself up with a computer in the cloud. I'll choose a willing guinea pig (I have a volunteer already) and go through how to set up and then use a FREE, pretty powerful computer for your bioinformatics. Don't forget, Thursday 4pm in the maths & physics building -- come along! Best wishes Mike
