Subject: New IAG Website Launched – geodesy.science is live!

Dear colleagues,

I am pleased to announce the launch of the new IAG website now available at 👉 https://geodesy.science

This new platform marks an exciting milestone for the IAG and reflects our commitment to making geodesy more visible and accessible to a broader audience.

What’s New?

🔹 Focus on visibility of Geodesy: The domain geodesy.science itself and the redesigned start page aim to engage people outside the geodetic community. The new "About Geodesy" section provides an accessible and visually engaging introduction to our science.

🔹 One platform for all: The new website now also integrates the GGOS and the ICCT websites, which brings key IAG components under one roof.

🔹 User-focused structure: We've made the website more intuitive and focused on your needs, with the following key areas:

📰 News: Stay updated with recent developments and subscribe to the mailing lists

📅 Events: Find all upcoming geodesy-related events in one place

💼 Jobs: Browse or post job opportunities in our growing job platform

👥 Member: Learn how to get involved in IAG and how to become an individual IAG member

🙋 Get Involved: We encourage all members and colleagues to actively contribute and help us keep the community informed. You can now easily submit News, Events, and Job Offers via our convenient online submission forms, available on the respective pages.

🙏 Many thanks: I would like to sincerely thank everyone who contributed to making this website possible. In particularly my colleagues at BEV (Helmut Klima, Lucas Triebenbacher), at IAG Office (Daniela Thaller, Christina Dimopoulou), at IAG COB (Szabolcs Rózsa), at GGOS (Laura Sánchez, Detlef Angermann), as well as all those who kindly reviewed the website in advance and provided valuable feedback.

We hope you enjoy exploring the new site and find it useful. Please feel free to share this announcement within your networks and let us know if you have any suggestions or content to share.

Warm regards,

Martin
