Dear Phil,
Thanks for reaching out in the first instance, I appreciate the initial heads up and loop in before being contacted by the academic
in Albania.
Yes – please provide my email as an initial first point of contact, and also include the geodesy@ga email (cc’d) so that my colleagues
have visibility of the request.
Are you able to send through a copy of the correspondence you had with GA at the time when you handed over the GDAGrid source code?
I have not been able to find a copy of this and would like to create a catalogue in our records management tool for the future, should this come up again. I am guessing this may have been either with John Dawson or Nick Brown?
Thanks and Regards,
Anna

Subject: GDAGrid source code
Hi Anna,
When the GDA2020 distortion grids were being computed I agreed to provide GA with exclusive rights to the GDAGrid source code. In recent weeks I have been approached by an academic in Albania requesting access to the software. Given it
is now not mine to give away, I would like to put him in touch with you to negotiate the necessary arrangements. I just wanted to put you in the loop first and to check if you are ok with me giving him your email address?
Kind regards.
Phil.
